Samuel Michaels is the founding lawyer of SM Legal. Samuel practices primarily in corporate law, working with company founders and shareholders to resolve internal disputes and manage their ongoing legal needs. Samuel works alongside business clients on a wide range of legal matters, including share structuring, mergers & acquisitions, and employee onboarding.
Working in diverse environments, from legal aid clinics to law firms, Samuel has built a strong and well-rounded background in employment law and corporate law. After studying at Osgoode Hall Law School, Samuel propelled into Toronto’s legal-tech and entrepreneur communities. Samuel is a passionate advocate for legal education, working with several access-to-justice initiatives throughout the GTA.
