Samuel Michaels is the founder of SM Legal. Samuel is a corporate lawyer, working with company founders and shareholders to resolve internal disputes and manage their ongoing legal needs. Samuel also works with business clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including employee onboarding, mergers & acquisitions, and advising on financing opportunities.

Samuel has a background in employment law and corporate law, having worked in diverse environments ranging from legal aid clinics to law firms. Educated at Osgoode Hall Law School, Samuel is a veteran of Toronto’s legal-tech and entrepreneur communities. Samuel is a passionate advocate for legal education, actively working with several access-to-justice initiatives throughout the GTA.
